BAUMGARTNER, Katharina (nee Horwath) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Katharina Baumgartner on August 22, 2016 at Hamilton General Hospital in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Josef (2002). Loving mother of Bob (Karyn), Rick (Pat), Joe (Joanna), Anita (Gord) and the late Barbara (1971). Dear Oma of 12 grandchildren and 8 great-grand- children. Dear sister of Anna and the late Andy. Special thanks to Meadowlands Retirement Home for their care and compassion. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME (796 Upper Gage Avenue) on Friday, August 26, 2016 from 11-12 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow in the funeral home chapel. Burial to take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church or a charity of choice.
