BERNARD JONES March 12, 1940 – June 9, 2017 Passed away suddenly at the age of 77 at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto. Bernie leaves behind his wife Marita, his daughters Angelik Jones (Peter Hanke), Tanya Chisling (Brad Chisling), Jennifer Jones (Keith Kitchen), Susanne Jones (William Mokrynski) and son Adrian Jones (Rachael Ancheril). He will be missed by his grandchildren Mardi, Melina, Caitlin, Carl, Jake and Harriet. Part of a large family, he also leaves behind sisters Winnie Robinson, Rosemarie Chaffers- Jones, Barbara Penkman, Jeanette Gribbin and brothers Richard, Allan, Harold and David and many extended family members. Bernie was predeceased by his father Richard Jones, his mother Winifred Mawby Jones and sister Rene Brown. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 30th at 11:30 a.m. at Highland Funeral Home, 10 Cachet Woods Court, Markham, ON.
