BOLYOS, Herta (Eisler) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Herta, 84, at Joseph Brant Hospital, on Monday, August 29, 2016, after more than a three year battle with multiple myeloma. Beloved and loving wife of the late Andrew (2006). Loving mother of Joan and her husband Bill Stafford, and Alan and his wife Pam. Loving grandmother of Sean (Sheena), Aaron and Brett. In 1948, Herta and Andrew fled Russian occupied Hungary in search of freedom. In 1950, they found their way to Canada and eventually settled in Hamilton. Herta quickly became a proud Canadian citizen. While her husband earned their daily bread, Herta raised her children and did what was necessary to keep their home solid and loving. A special thanks to the staff at 5 West, Dr. Hack and Dr. J. Holmes for their exceptional care. Cremation has taken place. Private family service will be held at a later date. For those who wish, donations in memory of Herta to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Burlington SPCA would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
