BORTOLOTTI, Livia “Lidia” It is with extreme sadness that the family announces the passing of Lidia Bortolotti on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Macassa Lodge, Hamilton at the age of 76 years. Survived by her beloved husband Adriano of 56 years who adored her. The most loving mother of Sara (Dave) and Rob (Kim) whom she loved unconditionally. Cherished Nonni of Samantha, Cristina, and Cassandra. Lidia’s happiest moments were spent skipping, baking, playing hopscotch, and making crafts with her three “diamonds in the rough”. Survived by her brother Raffaele (Bruna), sister-in-law Elvira (the late Giovanni), and Dorino’s wife Caterina. She also leaves her nieces and nephews to mourn her loss: Loreta, Victor, Debra, the late Leonardo, Mariapia, and Francesca. Lidia will also be sadly missed by her many friends and relatives in Canada and Italy. Predeceased by parents Santina and Felice Sbranchella, mother-in-law Carmela Bortolotti, and brothers-in-law Dorino and Danilo. Many thanks to the nurses and staff of Macassa Lodge for their loving care. Visitation will be held at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME – FENNELL CHAPEL, 322 Fennel Avenue East, Hamilton on Friday, August 12, 2016 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church (Barton Street East at Sherman Avenue North) on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 10 a.m. Entombment in Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery to follow.
