(Alva) Doreen BOUCHER
BOUCHER, (Alva) Doreen nee Jarvis November 12, 1930 – August 21, 2016 Mom passed away peacefully at Ridgeview Long Term Care in Stoney Creek on August 21, 2016 with her family at her side. Alzheimer’s took Mom a long, long time ago, and now she is finally at peace. Loving mother of Janice (Bernie), Steven (Barb), David (Deb) and Allan (Patti). Grandmother of Amber (Ryan), Justin (Codie-Marie), Joseph, Brody, Nicole and Megan. Great-grand- mother of Brooke, Treese, Lillyanne, and Jack. Sister of Kelvin (Doreen) Jarvis, and Brian (Lorraine) Jarvis. Predeceased by son Paul (1960), parents Frederick and Beatrice Jarvis, former husband Jerome (Joe) (1996), and sister Phyllis Jarvis (1999). Mom was a lifelong Hamilton Ti-Cat fan. Mom loved her garden, and reading with Boots at her side. Her children were the centre of her universe, and she gave selflessly to those she loved. Mom was also one of the original hockey moms…baseball moms…scout moms… The family is grateful to the wonderful nurses and caring staff at Ridgeview LTC, which has been Mom’s home for many years. At Mom’s request, cremation has occurred, and a private family interment will take place in September at Eastlawn Cemetery, Hamilton. If so desired, family would appreciate donations in Doreen’s name to the Alzheimer Society, the Hamilton-Wentworth Humane Society, or the charity of your choice. Rest in Peace, Mom, and Oskee-wee-wee!
