BRAUN, Fred Karl Peacefully passed away at McNally House on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the age of 66. Beloved partner of Grace (Sullivan). Dear father of Paul, Lisa (Jamie) and Julie. Grandfather of Bella, brother of Susan. Predeceased by his parents Friedrich and Josephine Braun, and his brothers Erroll and James. Will be sadly missed by his nieces Rosalynn, Michelle, Stacy, Beth and Jenna and nephew James. As well as his great-nephews and great-niece. Will be dearly missed by his longtime friend Doug and all those who knew and loved him. The family wishes to extend a very special thank you to Dr. Denisè Marshall and the staff at McNally House for all their compassion and care, Dr. Reinhard Brunner for his years of advice and care, as well as Dr. Richard Tozer and staff at Juravinski Cancer Centre. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial reception to celebrate his life will be held at MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main St. East (east of Sanford), Hamilton, on Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. If desired, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to McNally House or Juravinski Cancer Centre.
