SHAVER, Carole Elizabeth (nee England) February 13, 1933 – August 1, 2016 It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dear sweet Mom, Grama, and Great-Grama, Carole “Keg” in her 84th year. Predeceased by husband Aley (1980). Loving mother to Shelley (Glenn), Bill, Kim, and Roberta (Rob). Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Leigh (Rebecca), Owen, Whitney (Kenny), Kyle (Julia), Lauren, Spencer (Courtney), and great-grandson Henry. Survived by her sisters-in-law Helen, Mary, Joan, Rena, Gail, special sister Jean, and dozens of beloved nieces and nephews. Joyfully reunited with father Ernest, mother Aileen, brothers Bill, Frank, Pete, Joe, Larry, and sisters June, Trisha, and brother-in-law Alf. Special thank you to the wonderful doctors, nurses, and staff at Albright Manor in Beamsville, and to the nurses and staff at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby for their compassionate care of Mom. Friends will be received at the DONALD V. BROWN FUNERAL HOME , 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Carole’s Life will take place on Friday, August 5, 2016 at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 622, 12 King Street East, Stoney Creek, from 12-3 p.m. Cremation to follow.
