Carolyn Ann McKELVIE

Carolyn Ann McKelvie passed away peacefully at home and surrounded by family the morning of August 8, 2016. Diagnosed with colon cancer in 2012, her battle is a story of bravery, courage and strength. We’d like to extend a thank you to all the healthcare providers and facilities who contributed to her care.

Carolyn is reunited now with her beloved parents, Neil and Vera McKelvie. She is forever in the hearts of her loyal and loving husband, Aubrey Brown, as well as her two children, Christopher and Zoe.

Originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland, Carolyn will be greatly missed by her family back home: brother Alfred McKelvie, sister-in-law, Anne, niece and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

She is fondly remembered by all her extended family here in Peterborough and Whitby as well as by her many friends and co-workers. As a physiotherapist, Carolyn touched the lives of many people and leaves behind a great legacy through her work in the senior’s community.

Visitation with family (1 p.m.) and a musical memorial service (2 p.m.) will be held August 11, 2016 at North Runnymede United Church, 33 Pritchard Ave., Toronto, ON M6N 1T4.

Carolyn was a longtime member of the congregation and choir at North Runnymede United church and this was always a place of great fun, music, comfort and friendship. Donations will be collected for the Church memorial fund.
