Donnie CARTHEW
CARTHEW, Donnie Donnie left us to join his Mom and Dad, Marie (1971) and Melville (Pete 1990) Carthew on August 18, 2016. He is survived by the love of his life Cheryl and buddy “Windsor”. He will be dearly missed by his loving family Mom Ann (Pete) Hataluk, sisters Ann (Neil) Heynemans, Debbie Thompson, Carrie Carpenter and brother Paul Hataluk. Special Uncle to Darryl (Erin) Heynemans, “Little Mac”, Ava, and Declan. Many wonderful lasting memories for Agnes (Roy 2006) Middleton, Sim and Dan Creechan, Doug and Pat Middleton, Marie (Ian) Gallagher, Sarah (Adam) and family, Matt (Alisha), Katherine, Nathan (Erin) and family, Danielle, James (Danielle) Best life-long friend of Roddy Smith and Debbie who can’t be thanked enough for their constant support along with many other relatives and friends. Special thanks to VON Laurie. Donnie was a retired Ironworker from Local 736, he loved sports whether playing or watching (Go Argos!) He loved to go fishing and of course his daily crossword puzzles were a must. His generous and kind heart will be missed. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME , 796 Upper Gage Ave., on Saturday August 27, 2016 from 1 – 3 p.m. followed by a service/celebration of Donnie’s life at 3 p.m. “Tea Party” as he called it to follow after the service. Donations to KidSport – Niagara Region Chapter would be greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers.
