At Sunnybrook Hospital Veterans Centre on May 25, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Sandy McKillop, Kay to her friends, “Sissy” to the family. Much loved Mum to David and Nancy (Joe McCabe), Nana to Carolyn (Jay Warren), Allison (Bryan Long), Jeffrey (Gillian), Martha and Marisa (Joel Castro). Great-Nana to Jaia, Naomi, Thomas, Benjamin, Alice and Joseph. Born in Toronto in 1923, she enjoyed 94 years among her friends at the Society of Singers, the Sick Children’s Women’s Auxiliary and at Briton House. The eldest daughter among the “Kent Clan” she was the last of a generation that survived the Depression, served in the Air Force during WWII, and raised a family during the baby boom. The family will receive friends at the HUMPHREY FUNERAL HOME A.W. MILES – NEWBIGGING CHAPEL, 1403 Bayview Avenue (south of Davisville Avenue) from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 30th.
