Celine SEQUEIRA
Our beautiful mother and grandmother Celine Sequeira passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, March 13, 2017 in her 88th year. She is survived by her loving husband Joe, who remained by her side until her final moments. She will be immeasurably missed by her three children Ed (Andrea), Joe (Layne) and Anne-Marie (Martin). Grandma Celine will be forever remembered by her grandchildren Lauren, Evan, Colin, Clayton, Johnny and Anna. A woman of admirable strength and determination, Celine spent over 30 years as a teacher in Montreal after earning a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Michigan. She was the first person, man or woman, from her Catholic community in Pakistan to earn an American university degree. We would like to extend our gratitude to the wonderful staff of the Bronte Section at the Chartwell Waterford Long Term Care Facility.
