TRAVALE, Charles John Surrounded by love, on September 9, 2017 at St. Peter’s Hospital, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Theresa (nee Balardo) for 64 years. Loving father of John (Diane), Steve (Irene), and Carm Lenartowich (Brian). Dear grandfather of Diana, Stephen (Nikki), Paul and Michael. Predeceased by his parents John and Carmela. Great older brother of his sister Vincenza and brother Jack (Lorraine). Dear brother-in-law of Rose Castellani. Uncle to many loving nieces and nephews. Together with his father, Charles operated a shoe repair shop since 1934 that earned him the moniker of “The King of Barton”. Charles was an avid music and fitness lover, and “a helluva guy”.
