KIERSTEAD, Cheryl Suzanne (nee MacLeod) It is with unbelievable sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Cheryl Kierstead, on July 26, 2017, in her 68th plus 1 year. Her four chicks were present and accounted for. We took turns lying with our Mom and holding her hand and listening to her heart beat while she flew to heaven into the waiting arms of her Dad and Grandson. Beloved mother of Tammy Fletcher (Don), Kathy Barwell, Julie MacIssiac, Ted Doloviczi (Vanessa) and Sahal Kierstead. She was a Nanny to Ashley, Amanda, Danielle, Blake, Seth, Hannah and Max. Predeceased by loving grandson Fred Pearce. Great Gramma ( G.G.) to Damien and Madison. Sister of Joyce, Pat, Linda, and Andrew. Predeceased by her brothers Wayne and Tim MacLeod. Sister-in-law to Janet and Colleen MacLeod. Special Mom to Jewel and Wayne Locknick. Special Nanny to Jen (Corey), Jade ( Jay) and Wayne. Special Nanny to Wyatt, Ava, Lyric, Layden, Sheldon Burkeholder, Kiki Fuller and Carrie Lynn. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Grace MacLeod. Near and dear to her are the MacLeods of Brantford, the Ryans of Nova Scotia, the Maloney’s and Dugas’s of Hamilton. A special thank you to Linda and Mark Habros, who always supported her and were there when she needed a friend. My mom wanted me to mention her doctor and friend Dr. Richard Porter who was always there for her. He made 42 years of life and her children’s lives special because of his goodness, kindness and help. He will never be forgotten. Visitation will take place on Sunday, July 30th from 2-4 and 5-9 p.m. at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street E., Hamilton. Funeral Service in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow to Woodland Cemetery.
