Always a lady, Christine passed away peacefully on June 3, 2017 at Dorothy Ley Hospice with family at her side. Beloved wife of the late John Nelson. Loving sister to Jean Turk and the late Victor Cutler. Cherished mother of Gary and Marsha White, Karen Stewart and Rob Mehew, David White and Heather Wilson, Virginia Nelson, Julia and Peter Carrescia and Alan Nelson. Loved by her grandchildren Courtney and Hayley Nelson, Kaitlyn Nelson, Madison and Dakota Nelson. The family thanks Vilma, Malu and the staff at Dorothy Ley Hospice for their care and compassion. Friends are welcome at services at THE SIMPLE ALTERNATIVE FUNERAL CENTRE, 1535 South Gateway Rd., Mississauga (Dixie Rd., two lights south of Eglinton Ave.), on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 1 p.m until time of the Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Remembrances, if desired, may be made to Dorothy Ley Hospice.
