Monique Rose Marie CRANE (nee Gignac)
CRANE, Monique Rose Marie (nee Gignac) Passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on Saturday, July 23, 2016 surrounded by her family in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Edward Crane. Loving mother of daughter Suzanne and her husband Randy Parry, and son John (predeceased). Proud grandmother of Michelle, Suzanne, Michael, Katherine and 5 1/2 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Gilles, Huguette, and Rene. Remembered by the Gignac family in Quebec, and the Crane family in Kitchener and surrounding area. Monique Crane was born and raised in the province of Quebec. She joined the air force at the age of 21, where she met the love of her life and then husband Edward Crane. They went on to move throughout the province where they had two children and finally settled in Hawk Junction where they ran a successful business. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visiting will be held at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 2 – 4 p.m. Memorial Service to follow in the chapel at 4 o’clock.
