EDMONDSON, David George May 23, 1960 – May 12, 2017 David passed away at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice in Hamilton, Ontario after a short but hard fought battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Wanda Curtis. Predeceased by loving parents George and Barbara Edmondson. Survived by sister and brothers, Vicky, Andrew (Wendy), Robert (Kim) and nieces and nephews Kayla, Melissa, Sarah, Sam, James and great-nephew Erik. Born in Vancouver, B.C., Dave grew up in East Van and attended Sir Matthew Begbie Elementary and Vancouver Technical Secondary School. David was an amazing athlete, excelling in hockey and basketball. He was a trained mouldmaker and worked in foundries in B.C. and Burlington, ON, ending his working career manufacturing automotive parts. Devoted owner to many dogs and cats over the years and remembered by his family as the host of barbecues, pizza parties and wonderful Christmas dinners. Grateful thanks from the family to the staff at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice for making his last days peaceful and providing such a caring environment.
