DEDIO, Walter Melvin It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Walt after a lengthy illness at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Friday, August 26, 2016 at the age of 83. Loving husband of 60 years to Betty. Dear father of Brenda (Steve), Elaine (Allan), Melvin, Laurie and Annette (Dave). Very loving grandfather of 6 and great-grandfather of 11. Walt is survived by his sisters Rose and Susan (Paul), sister-in-law Bertha, as well as many Nieces and nephews. Walt is predeceased by his parents Stella and Peter of Sexsmith, Alberta, brothers Anthony and Eddie, sister Agnes, and brothers-in-law Walter and Harry. Walter was a retiree of Dofasco following many years of service as a Millwright. Cremation has taken place.
