We celebrate the life of Delores Marie (Kavanagh) Beaudoin and announce her peaceful passing at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Friday, July 9, 2021, just one day after her 85th birthday. Daughter to the late Peter and Emily Kavanagh, survived by her sisters Mary Frampton and Eleanor Donnelly, beloved wife of the late Daniel and mother to Joe (Sandy), Ralph (Karen) and David. Loving Nana to Jason, Alex (Bill), and Emily. Delores was a wife, mom, nana and a great friend to her many patrons who knew her as pip-squeak, the nice waitress, who always knew their orders before they sat down at the Cameo Restaurant.
A special thank you to all the staff at St. Joseph’s SDU and 6th Medical Unit and Dr. Anne Woods and Dr. R. AL Mahmoud (Palliative Care) for all their care and support during her final days. An extra special thank you to the Laura and Lisa and all the caring staff at the Parkview Nursing Centre where Delores spent the past 20 years.
Due to Covid-19, all visitations and funerals are restricted to a specified number of attendees. All visitors will be required to wear a face covering, as well as provide name and telephone number to funeral home staff. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday, July 15, 2021 from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Private Family Funeral Service. Delores will be placed in the family mausoleum Our Lady of Victory, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington, Ontario.
