It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Domenica Memme on Monday, March 6, 2017 at Humber River Hospital. Predeceased by Antonio Memme (2001). Loving mother of Josie Di Loreto (Aldo) and Antionette Sorbara (Joseph). Cherished Nonna to Tina (Massimo), Domenico (Anna Agnese), Julia and Tommy. Great-Grandmother to Aldo, Simone and Giorgia. Sister to Lina, Peter (Giannina) and sister-in-law to Mary; predeceased by brother Nick and brother-in-law Fiore. Will be missed by nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Thank you to the caregivers that helped Mom in her home and to the staff on the 13th floor Palliative Care at Humber River Hospital for all your care and compassion. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge Street (at Goulding, south of Steeles), from 5-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at St. Gabriel’s Passionist Parish (670 Sheppard Avenue East), at 10 a.m. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Thornhill.
