FRENCH, Donald (Don) Herbert It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Donald French. Following a courageous battle with cancer, Don passed peacefully at the age of 85 on Saturday, August 5, 2017 surrounded by family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Beloved husband of Mabel for 59 years. Dear father of Greg, Laura, Janice and Karen. Cherished grandfather of Jeff, Mikayla, Daniella, Will, Dave and Mark. Dedicated member of the East York Rotary Club (Rotarian for over 40 years), Future Aces volunteer, lifelong active member of the United Church. Employed by Burroughs/ Unisys 30 years and Investors Group 22 years. A Memorial Service will be held at Parkwoods United Church, 85 Parkwoods Village Dr., North York, on Monday, August 14th at 1:30 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to Morris Funeral Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations in Don’s memory can be made to a charity of your choice.
