Donald Lewis VICARY
VICARY, Donald Lewis Passed away in his 92nd year on June 8, 2017. Survived by his daughter Cheryl Day (Rick), daughter-in-law Debbie Vicary (Australia), grandson Christopher, granddaughter Michelle and great-granddaughter Lucie. Predeceased by wife Shirley (Soper) 2011, son Jim (2013), brothers Jack and Bob, parents John Vicary and Mary (Mills). Don was born in Windsor, ON and proudly served in the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II. He was a long-time employee of the Ford Motor Company, working primarily in the Ford Asia/Pacific Division. When he returned to Canada he became the Industrial Relations Manager for Stelco Credit Union. Thank you to the staff at Tansley Woods for all their care and support. It meant a lot to Don and his family. Special thanks to Dr. Amanda Jerome (Tansley) and Dr. C. Patterson (St. Peter’s Hospital) for their care and support. A private family service and interment will be held at a later date. Donations to the ALS Society would be appreciated.
