November 3, 1929 – December 24, 2016
It is with profound sadness and overwhelming sorrow that we announce the passing of Don in his 88th year. His strong family values and devotion to friends will always be remembered and instilled in our hearts. Don, beloved husband of Margaret Esther and devoted dad of Dewey Ross (Mary Ellen), Kathryn Alice (Andrew) and Don Herbert (Irene). Loving Grandpa to Tyler (Kristy), Ashley, Lindsey, Jennifer (Patrick), Sarah (Kallen) and proud Great-Grandpa to Olivia. Dear son of the late Emerson Dewey and Gladys Fern and loving brother to Thelma Edith and the late Gordon Edward, Marion Gladys, John “Jack” Eldon, Madelon Joan and Florence Gayle. Visitation will be held at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229), on Saturday, December 31st from 1 – 2 p.m., followed by a service at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Don’s memory may be made to a favourite charity of your choice.
