LAWRENCE, Doris May (nee Parsons) —
It is with great sadness and sorrow that we announce the passing of Doris May Lawrence on Monday, November 14, 2016. Doris passed away peacefully at the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in her 94th year of life with her family by her side. She was predeceased by her husband Forbes Lawrence and her brother William (Bill) Parsons of St. John’s, NL. Loving mother to her three sons: Lindsay (Diane), Brian (Vetta) and Gordon (Tricia). Remembered by her six cherished grandchildren: Allison (Matthew), Jessica, Jonathan, Katie, Brandon (Rebecca) and Blair (Matthew). Doris was known for her great sense of humour and her positive outlook on life. She will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved her. Friends and family will gather at the Turner & Porter Butler Chapel, 4933 Dundas St. W., Etobicoke (between Islington and Kipling Aves.), from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2016. A Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 1 p.m. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, Palliative Care Unit.
