GALBRAITH, Dorothy With heavy hearts, we say goodbye to our Mom, our Gram, our inspiration, our source of knowledge, our sounding board and reason we are who we are. Dorothy Galbraith passed away at home, surrounded by her family on September 8, 2017 at the age of 88. Born February 23, 1929 to Mary and John Elaschuk in Thorold, Ontario, she was predeceased by both her parents and son Peter (2014). Her kindness and exceptional sense of humour will be greatly missed by her children John, Janet, Judy, Jennifer and Cameron, daughter-in-law Kathleen, grandchildren Julia, Jessica, Ashleigh, Alyson, John, Scott and Cole, her two great-grandchildren Caprece and London and family friend, Peter as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Mom, we will love you forever. Visitation on September 12th from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m at Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd West, Etobicoke (east of Kipling Ave). Service on September 13th at 10 a.m. in the Chapel at Ridley Funeral Home.
