Douglas Barry ACORN
Passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017 at Toronto General Hospital at the age of 75. He will be missed by his sister Barbara and brother-in-law, Ross Zimmerman. Doug was predeceased by his sister, Valerie. He will also be missed and fondly remembered, by his many aunts, uncles and cousins. Doug had a natural aptitude for figures and worked in Accounts at Loblaws and, at the end of his business career, Loewen Ondaatje McCutcheon.
Doug not only enjoyed attending the theatre but, as a hobby, he worked Front-of-House for The Village Players. He will he sadly missed by all the friends he made at the Village Playhouse.
As per Doug’s and the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Cremation, followed by interment, will take place privately.
In memory of Douglas, the family requests that donations be made to Toronto General Hospital in recognition of the compassionate and professional care that Doug received.
