Wood, Dr. Dorothy Denise
Passed away peacefully at Lakeside Long Term Care, Toronto on Thursday June 29, 2017 in her 80th year. Denise was a graduate in medicine from the University of Toronto in 1968; and then made a lifetime career at the Hospital For Sick Children, Toronto as a researcher for Multiple Sclerosis. Denise was predeceased by her parents Dorothy, and Murray. She will be lovingly remembered by a brother John, and his wife Joan, by nephews Daniel, and his wife Lisa, and, Robert, and his wife Lisa. Thanks go to the excellent staff at “Lakeside” and her special caregivers Susanah, Fraca, and Gloria. A Memorial Service will take place at the Thompson Funeral Home, 530 Industrial Parkway South, Aurora (905 727-5421) on Thursday July 13, 2017 at 3pm with visitation one hour preceeding the service.
