CHAMBERS, Dr. Hugh Robert It is with great sadness that the family of Dr. Hugh Robert Chambers announces his passing on July 4, 2021 at the age of 88.
Hugh passed away in Cambridge, Ontario and will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 61 years, Marion, his two daughters, Debbie and Wendy, their husbands, Steve and Phil and his four grandchildren, Philip, Valerie, Matthew and Colleen. Hugh was a caring and much loved husband, a cherished father, grandfather and godfather, a well-respected doctor and valued friend.
He will be greatly missed for his kind heart, sense of humour, his curiosity about the world around him and his gentle soul. Instead of flowers, the family requests charitable donations to The Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund, an organization that Hugh not only believed greatly in but worked for as a volunteer after his retirement.
Celebration of Life Services will be announced at a later time.
