EDITH WOODWARD Edith Irene Woodward (Dreher/Dreer) died on June 17, 2017 at Winbourne Park Long Term Care in Ajax, Ontario, age 97. Born in Simcoe, Ontario, August 11, 1919, daughter of Otto (Fred) Dreher/Dreer and Verveine (Vera) Scott. Predeceased by: her husband Gordon Harry Woodward, 1981, sister Alice Roberts, 2010, sister-in-law Reta Woodward, 2003 and brother-in-law Fred Woodward, 2015. Loved and respected by her children: Ruth Eddy, deceased 2010 (Allan deceased 2015), Elizabeth Henry (David), Janet Horsnell (Malcolm), Katherine Coutts (Peter), Martha McCracken, deceased 1985 (Terrance deceased 1980), Audrey Thomson (Bob), Dorothy Sheila Woodward (Dave), Lynne McDougall (Rod) and Steven Woodward (Marianne). Grandmother to Susan, Darrel, David, Leeta, Glenn, Matthew, Scott, Mark, Kerry, Corinna, Matthew, Jordan, Bobby, Petra, Lara, Andrew and David. Great-grandmother to Kevin, Cheryl, Austin, Stephen, Bethany, Kyle, Karl, Samantha, Jordan, Zacheria, Shelby, Mackenzie, Olivia, Evelyn, Brandin, Eric, Ian, Aidan, Emily, Christian, Ava, Rachel, Nicole, Joshua, Finley, Fia, Jordan Jr., Jaylee, Aeolus, Zephyrus, Arya, Deondre and Emelyn. Great-great-grandmother to Kash, Kaden, Petra, Kacey, Caitlynn, Chelsey, Aidan and Noah. Aunt to Elaine, Gloria, Sharon and Marilyn. Cousin to Beth Thompson. Edith lived a simple life, with a strong Christian faith. She was kind, honest and fair. Her interest in words included: cryptic crosswords, a challenging game of Scrabble and discovering new words.
