EILEEN RYAN (nee McALLISTER) March 5, 1914 – July 5, 2016 In her 103rd year, Eileen passed gently on a magnificent summer’s day into eternity, her daughter, Judith (husband, H. T. G. Andrews) by her side. Beloved Auntie to Bette Burke, John, Sally and Tina Coombe, Lisa Hill, Marnie Caputo, Patty Warhol and generations of nieces and nephews. Adored by her two goddaughters, Melinda Lidster and Patty W. Predeceased by her spouse and partner of 65 years, Jack Ryan, formerly of Club El Morocco fame. Together, they travelled the world, composed music, wrote lyrics, played golf, bridge, solved crossword puzzles and in the process, touched many lives and made countless friends. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church, 196 Kenwood Avenue, Burlington, on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at 10.30 a.m. and interment, following church reception, at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
