McGILLIVRAY, ELIZABETH LOUISE 1932 – 2017 Elizabeth/Betty/Bett Peacefully passed away at home on September 17, 2017, at the age of 84 years. Beloved wife of Alan. Mother of Stuart (Peggy), Robert, Michael (Ruby) and Carol (Allen Bartley). Grandmother to Andrew, Sean, Shay, Alan, Sarah, Meaghan, James and Anna. Sister to Gail (Robert) Collett. Elizabeth was predeceased by her father William King and mother Claris Evans and her grandchildren Katherine (McGillivray) and Graham (Bartley). Elizabeth was a longtime member of Markland Wood Golf Club and bridge groups. She had a long valued career with Great-West Life Assurance Company in both Winnipeg and Toronto. She was an avid bird watcher with a gentle, kind and loving soul. Elizabeth leaves behind so many treasured family and friends. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. We will miss you with all our hearts. Your guidance and thoughtful counsel will always be remembered. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to the medical community who cared for Elizabeth over the past few months. Cremation will take place.
