WEBB, Elizabeth Mae – Passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Humber Heights Long Term Care Facility in her 97th year. She was born in Toronto and raised in Richmond Hill. After completing grade 13, she attended a special Art School at Central Tech for two years. She went on to work for an advertising agency doing artwork for the Eaton’s catalogue. Following this, she started her job at the Ontario Government in the Patent Department, where she worked for 30+ years until her retirement. Betty had many interests including travelling and photography, she was an avid bowler and volunteered as a driver with Meals-on-Wheels. She is survived by her nephew Don Webb, niece Janet Briere and great- niece Jennifer Briere. A Funeral Service will be held at McDougall & Brown Funeral Home, Scarborough Chapel, 2900 Kingston Rd., Toronto, M1M 1N5, on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 12 p.m. If desired, donations in memory of Betty may be made to a charity of choice.
