It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Foster at Southlake, Newmarket, March 6, 2017 in his 84th year. Loving husband of Jeannette (Vautier), beloved father of Philip (Janice), Gregory (Janice), Lisa, and Michelle (John). Cherished grandfather of Stephen, Michael, David, Kathleen (Jon), Carly, Sharon, Jackie, Katy, Andrew, Darcie, Austin, Olivia, Bob, Ashley, Sydney and Jonathan. Proud great-grandfather of Liam, Hadley, Phoebe, Addison, Kingston, Jack, Gwyneth and Scarlett. Dear brother of Ross (Lynn); son of the late James and Cora, and step-mother Elsie. He loved spending time with his wife of 57 years and with his large and extended family. He will be missed by his dog Snoopy who brought him great comfort during his illness. He was a humble man, a straight shooter, and always kind. He loved life, the Leafs, the Blue Jays, and watching the Young and Restless on his big TV. His laugh and sense of humour will never be forgotten.
