DOUMA, Fani Peacefully on her own terms surrounded by loved ones at Hamilton General Hospital on June 23, 2017 in her 94th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Kostas. Cherished mother of the late Ekaterini “Lina” (Peter). Proud YiaYia of Dino (Caroline) and Helen. Dear sister of Demetrios, Kostas, Vasos and Via. She is survived by her dear cousins in Toronto and her niece, Vasoula in Hungary. Fani will always be remembered for her strength, selflessness and unconditional love for everyone. Yia was the best grandmother Dino could have ever asked for and we loved her every breath. She meant the world to us and our hearts are broken. You will be forever missed and always loved. We wish to thank the emergency and CCU staff at Hamilton General Hospital for their expertise and compassion during this difficult time. The family will receive friends at DODSWORTH & BROWN, ROBINSON CHAPEL (King Street East at Wellington) Hamilton, 905-522-2496 on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 22 Head Street, Hamilton on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Hamilton Cemetery.
