Peacefully on April 23, 2017 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa in his 89th year. Predeceased by his wife Hilde (2000) and his son Fred Jr. (2011). Loving father of John (Linda) and Bernard. Cherished grandfather of Jeffrey, David, Lindsay, William and Shannon. Proud great-grandfather to Brandon and Willow. Dear uncle to Linda and Wendy. He will be fondly remembered by Linda Maiezza. As per Fred’s wishes, private cremation has taken place. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Lakeridge Health Kidney Care Clinic.
