GAROFALO, Rosalbina (Mercedis) Peacefully at the St. Joseph’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on August 27, 2016 in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Pasquale Garofalo for 70 years. Loving mother of Franca and John Cipriani, Alida and Santo Veltri, Nick and Jeannette Garofalo and Miranda and Tony Muraca. Cherished Nonna of Mirella and Luigi Cino, Roberta and Angelo Napoleoni, John Jr., Adriano and Rossella Veltri, Monica and Carmen Di Gregorio, Chris and Lisa Garofalo, Nicole Garofalo, Pasquale and Kayla Garofalo, Teresa and David Mills, Rosalie and Colton Clark, Peter and Andrea Muraca, and 15 great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Radegonda and the late Giuseppe Agresta, the late Luisa and the late Elidio De Lorenzi, the late Olimpia and the late Giuseppe Mutton, Nunzia and Carmine Perri, the late Michele and Susie Lucia and Caterina and Evaristo Perri, Santina and the late Angelo Minardi, Isolina and the late Francesco Laurito, the late Mario and Anna Garofalo, the late Carmine and Gilda Garofalo, the late Ottavio and Fernanda Garofalo. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends in Canada and Italy. Mercedis and her late husband Pasquale lived a full life. An inseparable couple, they cherished their family, their many winters in Mexico and their independence. We will forever hold dear in our hearts the immensity of good times we shared. Visitation will be held at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. on Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 2-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Vigil prayers on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Anthony’s Church on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. “Sempre nei nostri cuori”
