GEORGINA HEDWIG ELSA WHEELER (BRACKE)
April 21, 1931 – April 8, 2017
With fiercely stubborn determination Georgina bore the burden of multiple sclerosis for over 40 years. As the condition progressively narrowed her abilities and choices, she was finally granted her wish for a peaceful death. On Saturday, April 8, 2017, with family at her side, she made her departure from this life at Brampton Civic Hospital, at the age of 85.
Predeceased by her dear husband Frederic Wesley Wheeler, August 1, 1990, and only son Frederic Lorne Wheeler, April 18, 2013. Greatly missed by daughters Erica Routledge (Norm) and Sylvia Wheeler, daughter-in-law Sandra Raymond, six grandchildren, one great-grandson, and cousins Frank Fink (Mechthild) of Saarbrucken, Germany and Helmut Bracke (Elsbeth) of Miami, Florida.
A memorial service will be held in ST. JOHN’S YORK MILLS ANGLICAN CHURCH, 19 Don Ridge Drive, Toronto on Tuesday, April 25th at 11:00 a.m., followed by interment.
