SABOURIN, Gerard Marcel Very peacefully in his sleep Gerard Marcel Sabourin passed away on June 12, 2017 at Queens Garden Long Term Care Residence in Hamilton. His much loved wife beside him. Gerry was in his One hundredth year, of which he was so proud. He will be dearly missed by his wife Doris (Nameth) Sabourin. and daughters Micheline Pelland (nee: Sabourin) and Huguette Sabourin, as well as by his step children, Darrell, Paul and Bart Nameth and Jill Macesic (nee: Nameth). Also survived by his sister Fernande. Gerry had 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. As he always said “I have had a great life! I am a lucky man.” A big thank you to all the staff at Queens Garden, who cared for him and a thank you to the staff at Aberdeen Gardens Retirement Home as well for all their care. A memorial service will be held for Gerry September 10th in Hamilton.
