Allen Edward GILL
GILL, Allen Edward June 8, 1946 – June 19, 2016. Peacefully, after a two year battle with cancer, with Cheryl and Jesse by his side at St. Peter’s Hospital on June 19, 2016. Loving father to Jesse (Donna Jean) Chrissy. Predeceased by his parents Mary (nee Hunter) and Albert Gill. Survived by sister Patty (Hugh), brothers Jimmy and Robert. Grandfather to Curran, Broden and Mikey. Al was a member of Liuna, Local 837, Al was also a long time member of Fratellanza Club. Special thanks to C.C.A.C. VON, Bayshore, St. Peter’s staff, Dr. Nash, also a special thanks to his friends for the care and compassion; Janet, Gabe, Armond, John M., Doug Burns. Al had recently got his wish to swim in the ocean one last time, thanks to Westmount Lodge Masons, his best “gal pal” Cheryl was able to go as his friend and caregiver. It was upon this trip, Al had known it was the end and final journey, with good spirit and a smile he lived right to the end. He will be dearly missed by many friends and family including Cheryl, Janet, John, Kevin, Emily, Margaret, Pat and friends at “Coral Park”. At Al’s request, cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will be soon in coming at his favourite club; Fratellanza Racalmutese Club
