Glen DELVECCHIO
DELVECCHIO, Glen P. Eng., 1950 – 2017 Passed away peacefully in the presence of his family in his 67th year after a hard fought and courageous three year battle against DLBC lymphoma. Glen had a 30-year career in the steel industry that spanned the R&D, Engineering and IT departments, followed by a 12-year career as a capacity planner with CDS (TMX). Glen loved to cruise the seas, dance under the stars, and celebrate life, love, family, and friends. Glen leaves behind many treasured memories of a life well lived in the hearts of those he loved dearly including his wife Olga, daughter Analisa (Ariel), sons Anthony (Mirella) and Jonathan (Natalia), granddaughter Sofia and grandson Mark. He will be sadly missed by his brothers Gerry and Brian, his sister Doris Belanger and his brother-in-law Anthony Turchyn, along with their families. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line, BURLINGTON (905-632-3333) on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Panachyda at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at Saint Volodymyr Cultural Centre, 1280 Dundas St. W., Oakville, on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 10 a.m. Interment and reception to follow. www.smithsfh.com
