Gordon Bartley in his 92nd year, beloved husband of Alva (Rawding-Thompson) and the late Vera Bartley. Dear father of David (Shirley) Bartley, grandfather of Owen (Sharon) Bartley, great-grandfather of Jenson and Cole and grandson Glenn Bartley. Gordon is also the father of Jennifer (Bob) Merchant, grandfather of Ashleigh (Pam) Merchant. Step- father of Bill (Cindy) Thompson, step-grandfather of Bonnie and Diana, step-father of Jennifer Thompson and Douglas (Kara) Thompson and his daughters Emily and Audrey. Friends will be received at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME, 445 St. Vincent St., Barrie (just north of Cundles Rd.), on Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 10 a.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 11 o’clock. Interment Glendale Memorial Gardens Etobicoke. Memorial donations to the IOOF Home or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
