GRACE MARJORIE HARRIS June 7, 1928 – May 20, 2017 Grace Marjorie Harris (nee Trim) passed away May 20, 2017 at Lakeridge Oshawa Hospital in her 89th year. Predeceased by brothers George and Arthur, husband Colin and son David. Survived by brother David in England, son Paul (Leigh-Anne), daughters Elizabeth and Colinne (Paul) and daughter-in-law Marlene. Loving Grandmother to Jennifer (Steve), Heather (Matt), Tim (Ang), Jana, Jason (Julia), Jamie (Donna), Victoria and Sarah. Great- grandmother to Alexa, Sloane, Ben and Olivia. In addition to being a wife, mother and avid tennis player, Grace was a longtime member of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society, Toronto Branch and was a respected and dedicated teacher for children and adults for over 50 years. She began teaching at Rosedale Presbyterian Church in the 1960s and her last group was at St. Andrews Church in Scarborough in 2016. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on June 23, 2017 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrews Church in Scarborough to celebrate Grace’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society will be appreciated by Grace’s family.
