ACKER, Gwen May (nee Brown) —
Gwen passed away peacefully at Princess Margaret Hospital with her sister by her side. Gwen is survived by her husband of 34 years, Ian Laird Ridge, and her three siblings Russell Brown (Joan), Velda Boyle, Warren Brown (Elaine) and seven nieces and nephews. Gwen enjoyed and will be remembered by her many friends from her days with the North Toronto Collegiate, Etobicoke School Board, Ritchie Avenue, Toronto Women’s College Hospital Health Care Auxiliary, the ADOPT yoga club and many other activities. Friends will be received at the Ridley Funeral Home, 3080 Lake Shore Blvd. W., Toronto, Ontario (at 14th St., between Islington and Kipling Aves., 416-259-3705) on November 12th from 2-4 p.m. A private family interment will be held.
