HODGSON, Gwendolyn Lorraine (nee Wylie) April 15, 1957 – July 30, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gwen after a very long courageous battle to cancer. She passed away peacefully at St. Peter’s Hospital. Beloved wife to Skip Hodgson for 40 years and loving treasured mother to Shannon Lorraine Hodgson (Michael Fougere). Gwen leaves behind her three grandchildren who meant everything to her, Skyler, Brittney, and Brooke. Also leaves behind her four siblings, Larry, Brian, Michael (Yvonne) and Cheryl (Rick) Hamann. Predeceased by her loving parents, George Wylie (1976) and Shirley Zdriluk Wylie Waring (2012) and step-father Raymond Waring (2009). “Forever and always our loving mother, grandmother, wife, sister, niece, and aunt you will always be even now that you’re gone. Your memory shall remain with us forever, throughout eternity.” A mother and a daughter share bond that can never be broken.
