HANDLEY, Robert Ronald It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Robert Handley on August 23, 2016 in his 63rd year. Loving, devoted husband and best friend of Roni MacPherson. Loving grandfather of Laurissa (“we will meet again at Bob’s Park”). Dear brother of Barbara, Kenny, Dianna, Barry, and Bettyann. Predeceased by his parents John and Ruby and his brothers James and Dennis. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Fondly remembered by Chris (Jennifer) and Dave MacPherson. Robert will be sadly missed by BFF’s Stewart, Robin, Cheryl, and Kathy. Robert was a retired employee with 35 years of service with the HSR. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at P.X. DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 796 Upper Gage Avenue, on Friday, August 26th from 2-3 p.m. followed by a memorial service in the funeral home at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
