It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the Oakley family announce the peaceful passing of Harold George Oakley in Brampton, ON. Loving husband of Mary for 26 years, predeceased by his first wife Doris Margaret. Cherished father of Kent (Deborah), Donald (Cory) and step-daughters- Janet (Marvin Medelko), Lynne Genova, Carol (Ron) and Marie. Loving grandfather to Kevin, Erin, Alex, Adam and Andrew. Proud great-grandfather of Aiden, Madison and Emma. Survived by sister Carol and predeceased by: brothers Harry, Nelson, Roy, Harvey and sisters Doreen, Isabel and Lorraine. Harold was the former owner of Oakley’s Greenhouses, Castlemore and was a hockey coach for Woodbridge Minor Hockey League in the 60’s. He will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral service to take place at St Paul’s Presbyterian Church – 723 Balmoral Dr, Brampton, Ontario on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2017 at 11am. Visitation at the church 1 hour prior to service.
