OELTJEN, Heino —
Passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the age of 89. Loving husband to Edeltraud (Eta) for 29 years. Respected and admired step-father to Heike (John) and Markus (Nancy). Beloved “Opa Heino” to Stephanie, Brooklyn, Thomas, Sara and Emily. Dear brother Gord and Eckard. He will be greatly missed by his nephew, extended family and friends. For 41 years Heino delivered bread for Rudolph’s Bakery, never missing a day in his career. In his earlier years, his greatest joy was time spent at his cottage on Lake Kawagama with friends and family. More recently he cherised his home, his garden and his pipe. Visitation will be held at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre (625 Birchmount Rd., north of St. Clair Ave. E., Scarborough, 416-267-8229) on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Funeral Service and Reception to follow.
