HELEN CATHERINE JONES (nee LAMBERT) With sadness, we announce the passing of our Mother, Helen Catherine Jones, at the age of 83, on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at William Osler Hospital in Brampton. Beloved wife of Melvin Frank Jones, who was the love of her life (predeceased June 25, 2005). Helen was born July 18, 1933 to Harold and Doris Lambert (both predeceased). She was the loving mother to Sandra Campbell (John), Robert Jones (Lynda), Kathy Rempel (Norm), Sharon Smith (Greg) and Glenn Jones (Judy). Remembered and loved by her grandchildren Sharon Long (Gerry), Susan Garcia (Alex), Heather McCormack (David), Kimberly Jones, Jeff Rempel (Denise), Jennifer Rempel (Kevin Shaw), Shannon Rempel, Melanie Elliott (Brad), Montanna Jones and Austin Jones. Cherished great-grandchildren Brandon Long, Megan Long, Kathryn Garcia, Gabriella Garcia, Benjamin Garcia, Emily Rempel, Reese Shaw and Brooke McCormack. Helen worked many years as a Switchboard Operator at the Toronto Star Newspapers. A private family service is planned in Caledon.
