Ronald William HILL
HILL, Ronald William 1927-2016 It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Ron on December 27th in his 90th year. Loving husband of Millie for 60 years. Dedicated and loving father and grandfather of Jeff (deceased), Jim and John and their families. Ron was a devoted employee of Procter & Gamble for 34 years. He immigrated to Canada in 1951 from Brighton, England, received his B.A. from McMaster University in 1955 and after his marriage in 1956, he obtained his Masters of Commerce from the University of Toronto. Ron was an active member of the YMCA (with his sons) for many years. He has always enjoyed working out to stay fit. He taught night school at Mohawk College for 4 years. On December 31, a visitation with the family will be held starting at 10 a.m. with a service at 11 a.m. followed by refreshments in the Church Hall at St. Andrews United Church, 479 Upper Paradise Road Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Andrews United Church or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. The family wishes to thank the nurses at the Hamilton General Hospital for their devoted care of Ron during his stay.
