DEWLAND, CGA, CPA, HUGH January 20, 1939 – May 16, 2021 Freed from the ravages of dementia, Hugh Dewland passed away peacefully at Gateway Haven, Wiarton. Hugh was retired from the City of Toronto Finance Department where he was Assistant Director of Finance.
He enjoyed his retirement years travelling with Marilyn, farming in Walter’s Falls and taking pleasure in the surrounding countryside of Grey Bruce. Hugh is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn of 62 years, son Daniel Dewland, daughter Heather Morgan (Mike), grandsons Alexander and Kevin Dewland, sisters-in-law Helen Foster and Cathy Newton, brother-in-law Bob Newton, nieces and nephews in Canada and the U.S.A. and our Cuban “special son” Pire. Cremation has taken place.
