McLEOD, Hugh Alexander Thompson Passed away peacefully after suffering a stroke, on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Christine for over 53 years. Loving father of Ian (Dawn), Tracey (Scott) and Laura (the late Leslie). Devoted Grandad to Aidan, Devin, Kaitlin, Silas, Charlotte and Linus. He was predeceased by his parents Alice (nee Lewis) and Hugh McLeod. He will also be fondly remembered by his many other family members and friends. Hugh retired from Ancaster High School, after 31 years of teaching, in 1998. Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Ave., Brantford, on Sunday, June 25, 2017 from 12-1 p.m. A celebration of his life will follow in the chapel on Sunday at 1 p.m. Cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
